चौथे आम चुनाव के बाद पतन होने वाली सरकारों में भोला पासवान शास्त्री मंत्रिमंडल छठा है. श्री शास्त्री ने जनसंघ का समर्थन वापस होने पर १ जुलाई को त्यागपत्र दे दिया.

THE stage had been all set for a smooth transition of power. With all his rivals having backed out from the contest, the unanimous election of Virendra Kumar Sakhlecha, the blue-eyed boy of RSS, as the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh had become a certainty.
During the recent bickering on the issue of ministry formation, the erstwhile socialist group alleged that the Chief Minister, Kailash Joshi, was a captive chief minister acting on the dictates of theJana Sangh ‘caucus’. If he is, no one but the socialists are to blame for it.
At the time of the election of the leader of the Janata legislature party, the socialist support was instrumental in tilting the balance overnight in the favour of the Joshi, a Jana Sangh man. His only opponent, V.K.Sakhlecha, also from Jana Sangh, who was going very strong at the moment, had to bow out of the contest.
